InkTip: Scripts Wanted 573...

We are pleased to announce that two more scripts were optioned and two more writers were hired through InkTip.

Dan Barentine Options "Nine/Tenths"
Dan Barentine with Lamplighter Pictures discovered "Nine/Tenths" on InkTip and entered into a shopping agreement with writer Alan McNevin. Barentine also partners on projects with Buffalo Boy Productions (actor Chad Michael Murray). For McNevin, this is his first option through InkTip.

Christian Peschken Options "Code Phoenix"
Christian Peschken found "Code Phoenix" on InkTip and optioned it from writer William Mark Clarke.  "Code Phoenix" is an inspirational story set in a prison, and according to Christian "one of the reasons I chose the script is that Mark, as a former correctional officer, is an expert on the subject and his writing and dialogue had a lot of authenticity." This is Mark's third option, and his second with Christian Peschken.

Sergio Guerrero Hires Rob Samborn
Sergio Guerrero with Indie Eye Productions discovered Rob Samborn through InkTip and hired him to write a feature. Guerrero, whose credits include "A Day Without a Mexican," needed a writer to develop a story set in one location and found a match in Samborn, who provided a writing sample set in limited locations. This is the second assignment for the multi-optioned Samborn.

Eduardo Sanches Hires Jamie Nash
Eduardo Sanchez with Haxan Films completed principle photography on "Lovely Molly," which was co-written by Jamie Nash whom he met through InkTip. You may already know some of Sanchez' work; he broke into the business back in '99 with a little film he wrote and directed for $60K titled "The Blair Witch Project." Since that one went on to make $141 million, Sanchez did another innovative horror/thriller titled "Altered," which we featured on the cover of the InkTip Magazine as it was written by Jamie Nash. Ed and Jamie have been working together ever since.

HeMan Discovers "Stopping"
HeMan with Mid-West Entourage Entertainment purchased the short script, "Stopping Before We Go" from scribe Genevieve Shipperley after discovering it on InkTip.  Filming for the short took place in November in St. Louis. Mid-West Entourage Entertainment LLC is a film production company that also specializes in modeling, casting, and photography, providing an avenue for new talent. This is the second success for Genevieve through InkTip.
