More InkTip Successes

We are pleased to announce that another script was optioned and two more writers were hired through InkTip!

Maurice Davis Options "Turnaround"
Independent producer Maurice Davis found "Turnaround" on InkTip and optioned it from writers Beverly Gandara and John Han. "Turnaround" is based on John Han's experience using ancestral values and discipline instead of television and drugs to raise his stepson with ADD into a successful, world class jazz musician. Maurice Davis is repped by Jay Kennoff of Kennoff and Machtinger and has been able to get his projects into the hands of studio execs and major agencies with Jay's referrals and backing. This is Bev and John's first option
Jonathan Bogner Hires Tawny Stokes
Jonathan Bogner with Bogner Entertainment hired Tawny Stokes aka Vivi Anna after finding her through InkTip. Tawny, an award-winning multi-published novelist, originally pitched another script to Bogner and the meeting resulted into an adaptation deal for her book into a TV pilot. Bogner Entertainment, which includes Jonathan's son, Oliver, has a production deal with Fremantle Media, known for worldwide franchises "American Idol" and "The X Factor." This is Tawny's first option through InkTip.
Kevin Summerfield Hires Jacqueline Loring
Kevin Summerfield with Scorpio Studios met Jacqueline Loring through InkTip and hired her to develop an as-of-yet untitled international action feature. Kevin has a long list of films under his belt, including the Echo Bridge Entertainment release "The Derby Stallion" (starring Zac Efron), among many others. Jacqueline is a published poet and produced playwright, she was the executive director of the Cape Cod Writers Center, and her screenplays have placed in a number of contests nationwide, but this is her first professional hire as a screenwriter.
Colleeen Davie Janes Options "Umbrella"
Colleen Davie Janes of November Entertainment found the short script "The Great Umbrella Adventure" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Thomas McCue.  Colleen started out as a production assistant and worked her way up in film under such names as Oliver Stone ("JFK"), Robert De Niro ("A Bronx Tale"), and Sydney Pollack ("Sabrina"), before setting out on her own as a producer. This is Thomas's first option through InkTip.
