Searching for a writer to assist me in completing a number of scripts for television, web, and film. Will receive co-writer credit based on your contributions but will not receive co-creator credit as the ideas are fully developed and registered with the WGA. Will also receive nominal compensation upon completion of the script but will be required to sign ownership release and non-disclosure agreements.
To apply please use the following guidelines. Anyone who does not adhere to these submission requirements will not be considered.
1) Submit one or two scenes demonstrating your ability to write action and dialogue for each: comedy/sitcom, TV drama, Paranormal show, Crime Procedural, SciFi, and Romantic feature.
2) Attach these scenes in proper Final Draft format as PDF files.
3) Provide any links to materials you've written that have already been produced.
4) Do NOT send a full script or pitch idea.
5) Do NOT send a treatment.
6) Write one introductory paragraph in the body of the email describing your experience.
7) Write one paragraph in the body of your email describing your approach to writing and personality.
8) Describe in your email the amount of free time you have available to dedicate to the projects, your expectations, and your ability to travel to the Burbank/North Hollywood area.
9) Include your phone number in the email.
A number of my projects have already received some attention from large networks but none have been sold yet so there are no guarantees that they will "hit." I will not provide information about the projects until the proper documentation has been signed protecting my work, as fellow writers I'm sure you will understand. I am simply overwhelmed right now with the amount of projects that need completion and am looking for an easygoing collaborator with a fresh approach to writing. I love snappy, witty dialogue and people who think outside the box.
