Zombie Comedy Seeks Serious Co-Writer ASAP (West LA)

A Los Angeles-based independent film company is seeking a writer with a great understanding of zombie/horror films.

You will be co-writing with the producer several days a week in our West LA office,
as well as given some time to work on your own.

The plots, characters, storylines and sequences have all been developed and outlined, it just needs to be executed into a screenplay.

The ability to write funny dialogue (think Shawn of The Dead) as well as fast-paced action scenes is a must.

Also, you must have a great working knowledge and understanding of the zombie/horror genre and thrive on collaboration, rather than preferring to work alone.

This project has an immediate deadline and will hopefully only take a few weeks to complete, so please be available now.

Interviews begin tomorrow (Monday August 15, 2011) at our office in West LA.

To be considered please email a cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit as well as
a 5-10 page writing sample of a zombie/horror scene or sequence you've written.
(You can create one just for this project submission if you like.)

Your sample MUST include some witty, funny dialogue as well as tension and a chase scene.

Be sure to include your phone number and again, please be available right away.

*Non-horror samples will NOT be read.
