Screenwriter needed for adapting short into feature (LA)

An upcoming director is in need of an experienced screenwriter to help develop a short sci-fi action short into a feature script. The director is planning on adapting the short film into an indie feature to be shot in october 2012 with mid-low budget range. If the script is completed within certain parameters (time, potential budget, directors vision), compensation will be available in early 2012, when financing is completed. The ideal candidate has a fresh voice, works in action and science fiction, and lives in LA. Agency/ Management representation is preffered but not required.
