Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc. is a cutting-edge stock photography and motion clip licensing agency seeking an enthusiastic, highly-motivated college intern for the Spring 2012 semester.
Tandem specializes in representing the work of photographers worldwide in the genres of travel, culture, adventure sports, outdoor lifestyle, conscious living and nature/conservation.
We are looking for an intern who is looking to learn the ropes of the photo and motion clip licensing business as well as bringing to the table strong social media, graphic design and research skills. Strong writing skills a must. This is meant to be educational therefore we judge as much on potential as we do on current skills displayed. Candidates must be in-touch with current trends in imaging and short form motion picture production and show a ambitious desire to learn more about the industry. Candidates who are pursuing a career in the photography or film business will be considered first.
Qualified candidates must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution with a major in a related field to photography, journalism or filmmaking. Selected applicants will receive a competitive base compensation package commensurate with available days, hours and skills as well as an opportunity for college credit. Eligibility for credit is not required but preferred.
Selected candidates who fulfill their internship with outstanding quality may have an opportunity to pursue a full-time, salaried position at the company.
