Jacqui Adler Options "Sleeping Beauty"
Ben and Jacqui Adler with Cobblestone Films found "Sleeping Beauty" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Tony Boland. This is Tony's second InkTip success; he was also recently hired to pen a feature for Indiewood Pictures.

Howard Nash Discovers "Derby"
Howard Nash with Starrunner found "Derby" on InkTip and entered into a shopping agreement with the writer, Stuart Chang Berman. "Derby" is a fast-paced exploration into the violent and liberating world of roller derby, and this is Stuart's first success through InkTip.

We are looking for completed feature-length high-concept rom-com scripts. The female lead must be aged 20-40. This will be intended for television, so it must not be too offbeat or have any content that cannot be toned down (excessive violence, sex, nudity, etc.). We do prefer Christmas-themed Rom-Coms so please do submit these. We are not open to submissions that do not currently have the female role between the ages of 20 and 40.
Budget will not exceed $1 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length contemporary, female-driven drama scripts. The female lead must be aged 20-40. This will be intended for television, so it must not be too offbeat or have any content that cannot be toned down (excessive violence, sex, nudity, etc.). We are not open to submissions that do not currently have the female role between the ages of 20 and 40. Contemporary, present-day set scripts only.
Budget will not exceed $1 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

Company D

We are looking for completed feature-length low-budget psychological suspense/thriller/mystery/drama scripts – trippy, mindbending scripts – with reality shifts, mental instability, ticking clock mechanisms. In other words, scripts in the vein of “Donnie Darko,” “Birth,” “Martha Marcy May Marlene,” “Tell No One,” etc. Sometimes disturbing, with a foreboding atmosphere of suspense, danger and that the world is not as it seems. We are NOT interested in straight-up horror scripts, action/thrillers or crime scripts without the story elements mentioned above. In other words, though we like the film “Se7en;” it would not fit the above criteria since it is an edgy, dark mainstream crime film but without the sort of mindbending elements. We are not interested in “traditional” detective or Lifetime-types of thrillers unless they co ntain the fears, paranoia and story devices of the titles mentioned above. The story can contain metaphysical concerns (such as in “Donnie Darko,”), but the scale should not be of “The Matrix,” since this is a lower-budget film. Please look at the above titles to get an indication of the sensibility and taste.
Budget will not exceed $1 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

Company E

We are looking for completed feature-length trippy, contemplative thriller scripts as samples for a possible writer-for-hire opportunity. The script must portray characters that are contemplative, such as in “Tree of Life,” but also have strong, visceral thriller elements such as “Run Lola Run.” In other words, a character-driven, visually expressive film that deals with contemplative characters (such as “Melancholia” but with more thriller elements). This will create a unique tone of film that is not too artistic but still displays deep thoughtful ideas. Please include a synopsis with your submission. If your pitch interests us, we will request the complete sample script for further consideration.
Budget is open. Both WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

Company F

We are looking for completed scripts or extended treatments with a science-based educational core, i.e. something in the vein of "What the #$*! Do We (K)now!?" or “Cosmic Quantum Ray”(Animated TV series on HUB). We are not looking for submissions in the vein of Star Trek or some other sci-fi story. Please only submit if you are familiar with the above two titles. We are open to features, series, documentaries or animated projects, as long as they have a clear scientific theme and preferably based on existing book, comics, game or a toy.
Budget has yet to be determined. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

Company G
**

We are looking for completed feature-length thriller scripts featuring a female lead character and a revenge element in the plot, i.e. something in the vein of “Swim Fan.” Submissions should be for contemporary material with stories taking place in fewer than ten locations, so no epic stories, period pieces, or international locations.
Budget will not exceed $1 million. Only non-WGA writers should submit at this point in time.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

Company H

We are looking for TV series writers, and as such we are seeking writers with three or more completed pilots. When pitching, please put the three loglines for your three series in the synopsis space below. Please do not give us the loglines for the pilots, as we hope to actually read those, we rather need loglines for the entire series which your pilot scripts will be starting. Please do not pitch if you do not have three completed pilot scripts available. Half hour or hour is fine.
Budget is irrelevant, as this is for management consideration. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.
