Screenplay Requests: 576..

Three more scripts were optioned and another writer was hired through InkTip . .

Zane Levitt Options "Unstable"
Zane W. Levitt and Bill Kelman optioned "Unstable" from Mark Daniels after finding it on InkTip. Writer Mark Daniels wrote the feature "Mind's Eye" (starring Malcolm McDowell, Dean Cain and Natalie Distler), which was found on InkTip and wrapped last summer.

Wolfgang Wagenknecht Options "Underground"
U. Wolfgang Wagenknecht of Kraftwerk Pictures discovered "Underground" through InkTip and optioned it from writer Craig Clyde. This deal was shepherded by Barbara Bitela of the Silver/Bitela Agency, and his manager Dana Wall, both of whom met and signed Craig Clyde through InkTip. Craig has written and directed about twenty features already, specializing in family friendly content.

Chuck Howard Options "Holiday Hope"
Chuck Howard with All Entertainment found "Holiday Hope" on InkTip, optioned it from writer Francis Veltri, and we're proud to announce that cameras started rolling on the feature film yesterday. This is Francis' first option through InkTip.

Kevin Summerfield Hires Steve Szulanczyk
Kevin Summerfield with Scorpio Studios met Steve Szulanczyk on InkTip and hired him to develop his feature "Bad Animals." Stephen Szulanczyk spent years writing fifty spec screenplays just to hone his craft before setting out to write for others, and this is his first hire through InkTip.

Craig Bass Options "The Mindscaper"
Craig Bass picked up the short script "The Mindscaper" from scribe Guy McDouall after finding it on InkTip. Craig originally was interested in Guy's short "Monster Catcher," but it was already under option with another company. However, this opened up a dialogue, and Craig and the creative team at UBK Productions decided that "The Mindscaper" was a better option for their company. Brian Ernst will be directing the short with Craig Bass as the director of photography. Guy's script "Monster Catcher" is in the final stages of post-production.

Stories should take place in no more than three locations, with the bulk of the story taking place in one specific isolated location, like a house or an encampment.

We are looking for completed feature-length kick-ass action scripts featuring a female lead character, i.e. something in the vein of “Kick Ass,” “Sucker Punch,” or “Kill Bill.” Submissions should be for contemporary material with stories taking place in fewer than ten locations, so no epic stories requiring large crowd scenes, period pieces, or international locations. Special effects are fine, as long as they’re part of the ass-kicking.
Budget will not exceed $1 million. Only non-WGA writers should submit at this point in time.

We are looking for genre-based reality TV pitches. We're looking for reality-TV concepts dealing with genre elements like ghosts, supernatural events, creatures or monsters, etc. These projects need to work in the reality genre, however; so a series following people who investigate creatures would work while a scripted drama or comedy series wouldn’t. In the vein of this example, we really prefer pitches that already have elements attached, which is to say we’d like to know that a real team of creature investigators is on board if you’re pitching a series about creature investigators. Please note we are not looking for mere loglines or ideas, nor are we interested in completed scripts. Material submitted must be in treatment format and must be registered with the WGA.

www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

Budget will not exceed $1 million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

We need material in the vein of "Buried", "Panic Room" and "The Disappearance of Alice Creed". Please note by contained we mean no more than 4 or 5 main locations in the entire script. Screenplays that do not fit this criteria will not be considered. Due to tax and financing purposes, we are only open to submissions from Canadian writers at this point in time.
