Deadline to register – TOMORROW Friday, February 17th

On Saturday, March 31, InkTip is hosting Pitch & Networking Summit III.

At the typical pitching event, you only pitch 10 to 15 companies and that’s just not enough. We’re focused on getting your scripts sold, so we’re changing the writer / company ratio so you pitch an average of 30 companies in a single day and for about the same price.
Register now:
http://www.inktippitchsummit.com/?page_id=5

Already 36 script options, sales, productions and writer hires from Summit I & II.

InkTip guarantees a 100% refund* if you’re not completely satisfied with the experience.

Some of the 300+ companies that will be attending and seeking scripts include:

  • Infinity Media | ("Capote")
  • Mosaic | ("Bad Teacher")
  • Nu Image Films | ("Conan the Barbarian")
  • Bogner Entertainment | deal with Fremantle Media North America (optioned at Summit II)

We are pleased to announce that four more scripts were optioned and another writer was discovered through InkTip!

Din Altit Options "A Zillion Zaboodles"
Din Altit with DNF Pictures found "A Zillion Zaboodles" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Phyllis Heltay. "Zaboodles" is about a 10-year-old boy who finds a strange pet lost on earth by a vacationing alien family. The boy must keep the critter out of the clutches of an assortment of crazy aliens who are racing to collect the zillion zaboodle bounty to bring the creature home. This is Heltay's sixth option through InkTip.

Michael Mongillo Options "Blood Lust"
Michael Mongillo with Mean Time Productions found "Death Special" by Matt Giannini on InkTip and optioned the underlying story concept to develop into a new micro-budget project titled "Blood Lust."  Michael directed "Being Michael Madsen."

Matt Fitzsimons Options "Shadow on the Mesa"
Matt Fitzsimons with Larry Levinson Productions discovered the western feature “Shadow on the Mesa” on InkTip and optioned it from Lee Martin. And we’re proud to announce that the feature film went into production last week with Kevin Sorbo starring. Lee Martin has had dozens of novels published over the years, a bunch of options through InkTip, and the option on this script had to be renewed more than once as the producers put it together, but persistence pays off as Lee’s resume now boasts a produced feature film!

Derek Reeves Options "The Monkey King's Daughter"
Derek Reeves with Media Tropics discovered "The Monkey King's Daughter" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Todd DeBonis. Adapted from the first of DeBonis' popular YA serial novels by the same title, "Monkey King's Daughter" is about a young teen who finds out about her family's heritage, rooted in an ancient Chinese legend. DeBonis is a successful novelist and screenwriter, and this is his first success through InkTip.

Alexia Melocchi Discovers Anton Diether
Alexia Melocchi with Little Studio Films signed Anton Diether after discovering his work on InkTip. Alexia is a long-time InkTip member who reps writers, directors and other producers, as well as produces feature films through her production entity, Little Studio Films. Anton is a multi-produced writer whose script “Suburban Gothic” - Alexia is coproducing - has attached WME-repped director Christian E. Christiansen (2011’s “The Roommate”).

Hundreds of writers have sold/optioned their screenplays by having their scripts on InkTip.com.

Do We (K)now!?" or “Cosmic Quantum Ray”(Animated TV series on HUB). We are not looking for submissions in the vein of Star Trek or some other sci-fi story. Please only submit if you are familiar with the above two titles. We are open to features, series, documentaries or animated projects, as long as they have a clear scientific theme and preferably based on existing book, comics, game or a toy.

2) EMOTE productions – Seeking Scripts Set in Serbia or Eastern Europe
---------------

We are looking for completed feature-length dramatic scripts that take place in Serbia or Eastern Europe. By this we mean that the subject matter should be fairly serious, a “festival film,” perhaps with crime elements. At this time, we are only open to scripts that are currently set in Serbia or Eastern Europe as we are not interested in scripts to adapt. We are NOT open to comedy scripts or big action (no “007” or “Die Hard”).

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

Our credits include “The Belgrade Phantom.”

Subscribe now by clicking here.

Below are more companies seeking scripts, which are available in this week’s Preferred Newsletter (without contact information/credits). To receive the information, the cost is $50 for a four-month subscription (half price if you have a script on the site!).

For more information about the Preferred Newsletter go here: www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company A
**

We are looking for completed feature-length horror scripts (hauntings/ghost stories only) inspired by true stories or true events, i.e. hauntings/ghost stories from around the world.
Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company B
**

We are looking for completed feature-length erotic thriller scripts. We are not looking for late night Cinemax or softcore scripts but rather more sexy thrillers such as “Femme Fatale,” “Basic Instinct,” “Chloe,” “The Housemaid” and “Body Heat,” where the sexuality can be displayed but sex scenes are not the focus of the script.

Budget will not exceed $2 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company C
**

We are looking for completed feature-length contemporary, family-friendly, Christmas movies that will be suitable for cable TV. Note that we’re not looking for fantasy material, so no elves or red-nosed reindeer, please. We need stories with families and/or loveable pets set against Christmas.

Budget will not exceed $2million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company D
**

We’re looking for a character-driven subtle suspense/thriller/drama about a spy or assassin. The keyword is subtle, like the film “The American,” not extravagant Bond/Bourne explosions. The less dialogue, the better. We’d prefer the hero to be a European female, but we’re flexible. It should be set in Las Vegas or another city that can easily be re-written for Las Vegas. We really hope to find some new twist on the genre that we haven’t seen 100 times before. Again, the story should be character-driven with subtlety like in “The American” instead of “Smokin’ Aces.”

Budget will not exceed $600,000. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company E
**

We are looking for completed 1-hr pilot scripts in both drama and comedy written for a male lead role aged at least 40 years old. We already have casting in mind, so the script must already be written and centered on this casting requirement (principal role, not a supporting character). Think Steve Buscemi in “Boardwalk Empire,” or Dustin Hoffman in “Luck.” This would be for cable, so the series can be edgy. In other words, if it’s a comedy, it should be a 1-hour with edgy content in the vein of “House of Lies” or “Californication.” We prefer lead characters that aren’t overly stern, or at least do not play authoritative or law enforcement characters. We are not open to police procedurals.

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company F
**

We are looking for completed feature-length action scripts written with a male lead role aged at least 40 years old. The story should involve either law enforcement or a heist. It must be testosterone-driven with no holds barred action (no family adventure scripts). We are not interested in scripts where the character plays a hitman, “average Joe” or James Bond-like agent.

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company G
**

We are looking for completed ½-hr or 1-hr adult comedy teleplay scripts as samples for a possible writer-for-hire opportunity. We are developing a television series that has the humor style (and rated-R leeway) of “Entourage,” so we are NOT open to samples that are more intended for broadcast networks (i.e. no “The Big Bang Theory” specs or pilots intended outside of HBO or cable). Other than “Entourage,” something in the vein of “Bored to Death,” or another HBO comedy series may work. If you are submitting a pilot script rather than a spec of an existing series, please indicate so in the personal message space provided.   If your pitch interests us, we will request the complete scripts for further consideration.

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.
