Company B
** We are looking for completed feature-length high-concept, action/thriller scripts from unrepresented writers from the UK or Europe. Please note we are only looking at action/thrillers with a strong character with a clear objective (think "Taken" or “Source Code”) and not other genres. A High Concept script should have 4 key elements: a great title, a fascinating subject, a very strong hook, and broad audience appeal. In addition to these four elements, if your story cannot be described in one short simple sentence, it is not High Concept. Again, only unrepresented UK or European writers at this time.
Budget will not exceed $20 million. WG and Non-WG UK/European Writers may submit.

Material submitted should be contemporary, inspirational, and leave the audience with a positive ending and a good feeling. Submissions should not be edgy or reference religion in detail. Budget is $2 million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.
For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company D ** We are looking for completed feature-length thriller scripts where the majority of the story takes place in one to three locations. By dark fantastical, we mean scripts with either surreal or supernatural elements that vary from traditional supernatural or paranormal haunted asylum, houses, etc, although we are open to those as well. In other words, besides “traditional” paranormal or spooky scripts in the vein of “Session 9” or “Dark Water” we are open to scripts in the vein of “Jacob’s Ladder,” “Pan’s Labyrinth” or scripts with Lynchian or Jodorowsky elements. However, it should still take place in less than four locations.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company F ** We are looking for completed feature-length scripts that portray stories and/or characters about Chinese culture and/or that are set in China or scripts with an identifiable rewrite potential set in China in the following genres: action/adventure, romantic comedy, or sci-fi. Successful scripts will be produced in the People’s Republic of China - at least 50% of the shooting taking place there - and will be vetted by the government. Thus, the script should not be anti-government or contain explicit sexuality. If the script is not currently set in China, an identifiable rewrite would mean that we can change the location to China and/or one of the main characters to Chinese. Thus the script should not have cultural landmarks and settings that cannot be shot in China, and should not be wholly focused on dynamics that would be foreign to China (scripts that focus on sibling rivalry, American patriotism etc.). Scripts already tra nslated into Mandarin or pre-approved material will be given very high priority, so please mention if this is the case when submitting.
