1) Chic Productions – Seeking Scripts Produceable in China
---------------

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts that portray stories and/or characters about Chinese culture and/or that are set in China or scripts with an identifiable rewrite potential set in China in the following genres: action/adventure, thriller or sci-fi. Successful scripts will be produced in the People’s Republic of China and will be vetted by the government. Thus, the script should not be anti-government or contain explicit sexuality. If the script is not currently set in China, an identifiable rewrite would mean that not only should the script pass censorship but it should not depend on other cultural landmarks and settings and should not be wholly focused on dynamics that would be foreign to China (scripts that focus on sibling rivalry, American patriotism etc.). Scripts already translated into Mandarin or pre-approved material will be given very high pri ority, so please mention if this is the case when submitting.

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

We are a production and management company with credits that include “The Engagement Ring” that aired on TNT as well as upcoming projects to be produced in China that were found through InkTip.

**
Company A
**

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts involving a child or teenaged protagonist facing an obstacle that is larger than life. It can include some sci-fi or magical realism elements, however, we are not looking for an intergalactic space opera or a big-budget action film like “Spy Kids.” A perfect example of the type of story would be the 80s classic “War Games.” In other words, an older audience can enjoy a smart adventure/story, and not only kids. Other examples would be “Pan’s Labyrinth,” “The Goonies,” etc.

Budget will not exceed $5 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company B
**

We are looking for completed feature-length Christmas scripts. Material submitted must be contemporary, realistic (no fantasy elements, i.e. no talking reindeer or toy-making elves), uplifting, and should be something that could air on TV, meaning no sex, gratuitous violence, profanity, etc. A heart-warming Christmas romance is especially welcome.

Budget will not exceed $1million, so small cast size (6-10) and minimal locations (3-5) are crucial. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company C
**

We are looking for completed feature-length action scripts. Material submitted must be concept driven, and we give preference to pitches that can be made in a sentence or less. Please note we sent out a thriller lead recently, so please do not pitch any action/thrillers which you’ve pitched to us before.

Budget will not exceed $2million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company D
**

We are looking for completed feature-length sports competition scripts, i.e. scripts in the vein of "Cool Runnings." Please do not submit any material with action or crime elements.

Budget will not exceed $3million. Only non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company E

We are looking for completed feature-length low-budget thriller scripts.   The script should not be too action genre based but be more of a pure thriller.

Budget will be low. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company F
**

We are looking for completed feature-length grounded sci-fi scripts. By that, we mean the sci-fi elements should feel realistic within the story and not over the top. We are not open to creature features. We prefer more character-driven sci-fi such as “Moon.”

Budget is open. WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company G
**

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts from writers who have lived in Germany or written in German. At this time, we are NOT open to other types of scripts. The script must either be written in German language or by a writer who is currently living in or has resided in Germany and knows the culture.

Budget will not exceed $5 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.
