Deadline for Early Bird price – TOMORROW Friday, June 15th

On Saturday, September 22, InkTip is hosting Pitch & Networking Summit IV.

At the typical pitching event, you only pitch 10 to 15 companies and that’s just not enough. We’re focused on getting your scripts sold, so we’ve changed the writer / company ratio so you pitch an average of 40 companies in a single day and for about the same price.
Register now:
http://www.inktippitchsummit.com/?page_id=5

Already 40+ script options, sales, productions and writer hires from Summit I, II & III.

InkTip guarantees a 100% refund* if you’re not completely satisfied with the experience.

Some of the 300+ companies who attended Summit III include:

  • Black Forest Film Group | ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn pt 1")
  • Mosaic | ("Bad Teacher")
  • Dallago Films | ("Turistas")
  • Informant Media | (“Crazy Heart”)

---------

We are pleased to announce that three more scripts were optioned and another writer was discovered through InkTip!

Modalfish Options "P**** Envy"
Alistair Ayres with Modalfish Productions found "Penis Envy" on InkTip and optioned it from Ian Hamilton. Ayres describes it as "Coen Brothers" meets "The Full Monty." Hamilton is an Australian-based writer.

Joseph Nasser Options "Final Girl"
Joseph Nasser with the Nasser Entertainment Group found "Final Girl" through InkTip and optioned it from writing team Alejandro Seri, Stephen Scarlatta and Johnny T. Silver. In a first, it was actually one of Nasser's partners who discovered the writers and brought the script to Joe and director Tyler Shields. "Final Girl" is now in pre-production with Prospect Park on board and Abigail Breslin attached in the lead role. Alejandro Seri has been a writer with InkTip for many years, and is also an executive at Final Draft.

Sherry Robb Discovers Kate Queen
Sherry Robb with The Robb Company met Kate Queen through InkTip and signed to rep her as her literary manager. Since then, Sherry negotiated a deal for Kate's romantic comedy script, "The Rebound Girl," which begins filming this summer. Kate also has other comedic scripts available.

Jennifer Johnson Options "The Passage"
Jennifer Johnson found "The Passage" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Cassady Dixon. Jennifer is a UCLA MFA candidate, and she met writer Cassady through a call we put out to our writers. As part of the program, Jennifer will develop the script with Cassady over a 12 to 18 month period, after which time she will start pitching it to studios through the program and the UCLA alumni. This is Cassady's second success through InkTip.

Matthew Cherry Options "The Bassinet"
Producer Matthew Cherry found the short script "The Bassinet" on InkTip and optioned it from Doug Johnson. The script won first place in the short screenplay category of the 13th Annual Fade In awards.

Christian Vinces Options "Count to Ten"
Christian Vinces of Amaru Films optioned the short script "Count to Ten" from Ramona Baillie after discovering it on InkTip.  Production is scheduled for late spring.

Hundreds of writers have sold/optioned their screenplays by having their scripts on InkTip.com.

---------------
3) Millions of Pixels – Seeking Dramatic Mid-Life Crisis Scripts, Male Lead
---------------

We are looking for completed feature-length dramatic scripts about a man having a mid-life crisis. We are not seeking an imitation of “American Beauty,” i.e. something a little different, and that focuses more on the man rather than the rest of a family. The story MUST be told from the man’s perspective and not from another character (in “The Squid and the Whale,” the POV was more of the son’s rather than the father). To reiterate, the man’s psyche must be explored, as we are NOT interested in exploring the rest of the family; the primary focus must be the man’s character. We are open to provocative themes as long as it relates to the man and not his children, wife, etc. The tone should not be preachy (not a “feel good movie”) or intended for a family audience (should be for adults like “Sideways”).&nb sp;It should be more about how a man deals with middle age and his world crumbling. The script should be unique and insightful. We are definitely open to some humor, but we’re not looking for all-out broad comedies (no “Old Dogs.”), rom-coms, thrillers or other genres. It should be classified more as a drama/dramedy.

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

Our credits include “The Ideal.”

To submit to this lead, please go to:
http://www.inktippro.com/leads/

Enter your email address.

Copy/Paste this code: pkw8v4w70k

NOTE: Please only submit your work if it fits what the lead is looking for exactly. If you aren't sure if your script fits, please ask InkTip first.

Company A
**

We are looking for completed feature-length period action scripts, i.e. scripts in the vein of "Conan the Barbarian.” Submissions should be for material that is limited location, or where the majority of the locations are outdoors and do not require set building.

Budget will not exceed $3million. Only non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company B
**

We are looking for completed feature-length limited-location thriller scripts. By limited locations, we mean scripts set in 3 locations or less. We are looking for a script in the vein of "The Disappearance of Alice Creed” or “Panic Room” with a lot of tension and plot twists.

Budget will not exceed $2 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company C
**

We are looking for completed feature-length high-concept scripts written with at least two lead or supporting female characters in the age range of their mid-twenties. The genres should be either smart, edgy drama or thriller/sci-fi. No horror or action scripts. The script’s principal lead character does not have to be female, but we are looking for good, strong roles so it should have at least two supporting characters with women in their twenties who are complex and interesting (rather than one-dimensionally “strong”). By high-concept, we mean that the script premise should be easily described in a short sentence with a hook. Please include a synopsis with your submission.

Budget will not exceed $2 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company D
**

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts where the majority of the story takes place in a haunted mansion. We are also open to pitches from writers who are open to a collaborative process where we’ll develop such a script together. If you are pitching a writing sample and not an actual haunted mansion script, please say as much in the personal message space below.

Budget will not exceed $1 million. WG and non-WG writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company E
**

We are looking for completed feature-length thriller scripts where the majority of the story takes place in one location. Please note, we are not interested in supernatural material, so no “Paranormal Activity” stories. Also, we are not interested in horror scripts, just thrillers.

Budget will not exceed $100K. Only non-WGA writers should submit at this point in time.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company F
**

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts that 1) portray heroic Chinese characters 2) portray Chinese culture and/or 3) are set in China in the following genres: action/adventure, thriller or sci-fi. Successful scripts will be produced in China and will be vetted by the government so content should not be anti-government, glorify crime or contain explicit sexuality. Scripts with an identifiable rewrite potential to be set in China may be considered. Scripts already translated into Mandarin or pre-approved material will be given very high priority.

Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company G
**

We are looking for completed feature-length edgy, gritty crime scripts with a certain sensibility mentioned below. The script should NOT focus on cops, be a “big studio”-style drama or contain any super invincible action stars. Instead, we are seeking an unsafe script with real bite, perhaps controversial. Examples of films we like are “Animal Kingdom” (Australia), “The Chaser” (Korea), crime films directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Denmark) and “City of God.” As you can see, these films tend to have a non-Hollywood approach where the bad guy doesn’t have a change of conscience or the lines between good and bad are blurred. We do like crime films made by studios (“The Town,” “Heat”) but we’re looking for something that does not play it as safe, are non-traditional (no “homages to detective noir”) and that explor es new worlds (no American mafia stories). The script should not be suitable as a television movie.

Budget is open but low (similar to above film examples). WGA or Non-WGA writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.

**
Company H
**

We are looking for completed feature-length contest-finalist scripts from unrepped UK writers. At this time, we are only open to UK writers with a contest-finalist script to submit. Please include this information in your personal message (which contest and placing).

Budget is irrelevant. Both WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see
www.InkTip.com/pnews.php.
