Thanks! - Your Friendly Neighborhood InkTippers --------------- 1) Grand Bay Films Pty Ltd. – Seeking Offbeat Scripts by Australian Writers --------------- We are looking for completed feature-length character-driven, offbeat scripts from Australian writers or those who qualify for residency. We are open to various genres. By offbeat, we mean scripts that are not TOO mainstream in their sensibilities and stories that focus on interpersonal relationships. The script would ideally be “against the grain,” meaning not obviously derivative. Please include a resume with your submission or it will not be considered. Budget will not exceed $5 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit. Writers need to qualify under Australian content provision rules, meaning Australian citizens, qualified residents, or other exceptions. Our credits include “The Coca-Cola Kid” and “Storyville.” Earlier this year, we optioned a script from an Australian writer through InkTip. To submit to this lead, please go to: http://www.inktippro.com/leads/ Enter your email address. Copy/Paste this code: djp2knkyhr NOTE: Please only submit your work if it fits what the lead is looking for exactly. If you aren't sure if your script fits, please ask InkTip first. --------------- 2) Johnson Production Group – Seeking Low-Budget Creature Features --------------- We are looking for completed feature-length creature feature scripts appropriate for television. In other words, scripts about a giant mutated killer bee. However, it must feel organic to the story and not paste on. The title and premise must be high-concept and hook you in immediately -- this is not an arthouse project. It should be fun and not dwell on the human condition. We also have interest in a script about spiders, roaches or sharks so please make sure that you submit these if you have them. Since this is for a television network, the budget will be lower (this is not a summer blockbuster). Budget will not exceed $1.5 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit. Our credits include numerous MOW's including "A Valentine Carol," which was sourced through InkTip. To submit to this lead, please go to: http://www.inktippro.com/leads/ Enter your email address. Copy/Paste this code: 2uam1cj3sm 3) More Producers Seeking Screenplays and Writers --------------- The Next Preferred Deadline is July 27th. Subscribe now by clicking here. To receive the information, the cost is $50 for a four-month subscription (half price if you have a script on the site!). For more information about the Preferred Newsletter go here: www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company A ** We are looking for completed feature-length scripts dealing with general aviation, like dramas about pilots in training or thrillers set in a flight school or anything with a general aviation backdrop. Budget will not exceed $9 million. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company B ** We are looking for completed feature-length psychological thrillers by produced or optioned writers. If your story has a twist ending or is based on a true story, please mention this in the personal message space. When pitching, please submit a resume listing your feature or television screenwriting credits or the scripts you’ve optioned and the companies to which you’ve optioned them. Note that submissions which don't include feature credits or a list of options in the resume space will be deleted unread. Budget has yet to be determined but we are open to big budget material. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company C ** We are looking for completed feature-length four-quadrant scripts from optioned writers not represented by an agent. By four-quadrant, we mean four major audience demographics: over/under age 25, male and female. In other words, any script that would appeal to Pixar, Bruckheimer, Disney (“Pirates of the Caribbean”), etc. We are open to any time period as long as there is some adventure and a clear throughline for the protagonist. It should be high-concept so there is no doubt as to what the story is about or the world it is set in if you were to pitch a short sentence. Please include a synopsis with your submission or it will not be considered. You must include a resume that indicates the optioned script (year, company) or your submissions will not be considered. Again, we are only open to writers at this time who have optioned scripts and are currently unrepped (writers only repped by a manag er is fine). Budget is irrelevant. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company D ** We are looking for completed feature-length high-concept action or sci-fi scripts that have franchise potential. The script should have a very clear “through line” for the protagonist. We are interested in scripts that are cutting-edge and evoke visceral action and tension in a way that could eventually result in cross-platform packaging and branding such as video games, graphic novels and other media. The protagonist should be a strong, clearly-defined character that, along with the story’s setting, could develop into a franchise. We are particularly open to a new spin on a familiar world or new spin on genre clichés. The protagonist should have high stakes, preferably life and death. By high-concept, we mean the script’s main conflict for the protagonist can be pitched in one short sentence with a title that easily markets the story or genre. Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company E ** We are looking for completed feature-length contest-winning or finalist scripts in the comedy genre. Please list the contest and year in which your script won or was a top finalist (no semi-finalist at this time). Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company F ** We are looking for completed feature-length dance scripts with a female lead role at least 40 years old and male 35 years old. We are interested in various types of dance but the script must contain these roles. This is because we already have casting in mind. Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company G ** We are looking for completed one-hour drama scripts from Canadian writers. Any form of drama is acceptable. Budget is open. Both WGC and Non-WGC writers may submit. For more information on gaining access to this lead, please see www.InkTip.com/pnews.php. ** Company H ** We are looking for completed half hour adult comedy pilots in the vein of “The League” or “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Please do not submit any heartwarming “Modern Family” type stuff. We do need comedies, but we are only interested in darker, edgier material. Budget will not exceed $500K. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.
