Mark Johnson Options "Fear the Day" Mark Johnson of Gran Via Entertainment found "Fear the Day" through InkTip and optioned it from writers Geof Miller and Troy Hunter. There's actually a story behind this option, it took place when Wendy Kram discovered the writers through InkTip, signed as their manager, and closed the deal with Mark at Gran Via Productions. Mark's recent credits include "Breaking Bad," "The Chronicles of Narnia," and "The Notebook," among others. Alistair Ayres Options "The Sky Inside Her Bedroom" Alistair Ayres with Modalfish Productions found "The Sky Inside Her Bedroom" on InkTip and optioned it from Ward Parry. This is the second script that Alistair found on InkTip and optioned this year. Screenwriter Ward Parry wrote the feature film "The Shattering." Samuel Hawley Hires Shane Bridger Samuel Hawley with Hawleywood Studios found writer Shane Bridger through InkTip and hired him to pen a feature. Shane's talents were discovered when another producer, Judd Tilyard, found his material on InkTip and referred him to fellow InkTip member, Samuel. This is an international connection: Samuel is based in Australia, Judd in Toronto, and Shane in California. Jason Matzner Discovers True Story Jason Matzner found "A Vulgar Display of Power" through InkTip and is developing it with writer Michael Smith. Based on a nonfiction book by author/journalist Chris Armold titled "A Vulgar Display Of Power: Courage & Carnage At The Alrosa Villa," this film explores the events and characters centered around a tragic on-stage shooting that killed legendary guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and three other innocents. Rob Lamagna Options "Where Am I" Rob Lamagna with Merritt Films discovered the short "Where Am I" on InkTip and optioned it from Moisaque Blanc. Production is scheduled for late July.
