CinemaCon: 4DX Targeting U.S. Market

The immersive technology that treats audiences to additional motion, wind, fog, lighting and scent-based effects has been used for Avatar, The Avengers and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and premieres in Japan with Iron Man 3. At an installation cost of $1M per theater auditorium, the fee would be split by exhibitors and 4DX; 4DX has its sights set on Los Angeles and Miami to start. (THR)
