"A group of Lassen High School graduates have found a passion and hobby for filmmaking and are wrapping up post-production on a third film.
Dillon Brown, a 2004 LHS graduate, wrote the screenplay “Lou,” which was produced and directed by Will Thorn, also a 2004 LHS graduate and founder of Goreela Productions in Santa Rosa, Calif. Chris Giampaoli, a 2005 LHS graduate, was co-producer and helped with screenplay adaptation.
According to Thorn, the 40-minute movie is completely filmed and edited, but is in post-production for sounds and visual affects. Brown said the plan is to have a premier maybe in October in both Susanville and Santa Rosa, where the movie was filmed."
