More InkTip Successes . .

Damon Jamal Options "Rolling"
Damon Jamal with In Yo FACE Filmworks found "Rolling" on InkTip, optioned it from Peter Bisson, Mike Korich & Jason Medbury, and just completed principal photography on the feature. "Rolling" is a modern-day "The Breakfast Club" with the sensibilities of today's youth. In Yo FACE Filmworks, with offices in the Bay Area and Hollywood, is expanding to features. The project, previously known as "The Day Players," is the first produced feature for the writing team.
TJ Mancini Hires Ross Mahler
TJ Mancini with Crossroads Production & Mgmt. met writer Ross Mahler through InkTip and hired him to co-write "On Top of the World." Mancini had already optioned Mahler's script "Funeral for a Hitman." Mancini produced the Sidney Lumet film "Find Me Guilty," starring Vin Diesel. Mahler is also working on another project for Mancini.Christian Peschken Options "Quad C"
Independent producer Christian Peschken found "Quad C" on InkTip and optioned it from writer William Mark Clarke. Peschken's credits include "Dillinger and Capone" and "Flight of the Dove," among others. "Quad C" is an inspirational story set in a prison, and according to Christian "one of the reasons I chose the script is that Mark, as a former correctional officer, is an expert on the subject and his writing and dialogue had a lot of authenticity." This is Mark's second option, and his first through InkTip.
Terry Porter Options "Kheng Kheng"
Terry Porter with Flat Rock Motion Pictures found the family feature animation script "Kheng Kheng Crocodile" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Donna Lisa. Terry is a former producer (with credits like "Stagecoach" and "The Winning Hand") turned agent turned producer again (the upcoming "We Are Not Good Girls") who was looking for a family-friendly animation piece, and Donna Lisa's oeuvre was right up his alley. Donna Lisa was the 2011 Moondance and 2011 Worldfest Houston winning screenwriter in the children's television and feature categories, respectively, and this is her second success through InkTip.
Sharon Lewis Finds "A Bloody Fortune"
Sharon Lewis with Urbansoul found "A Bloody Fortune" on InkTip and optioned it from writers Barry Morrison and Pat O'Neil. Sharon is an actor-turned-producer whose film "Chains" aired on HBO after winning best sci-fi short at the Chicago International Film Festival. They have optioned two feature scripts in the past, including one other through InkTip. Says Barry: "This really underlines the power of InkTip for screenwriters everywhere. We are in Nova Scotia, now doing business with a film executive in Toronto, all because of a connection made through California based InkTip."
Gary Chan Options "Thanks, Lucinda"
Gary Chan produced the short film, "Thanks, Lucinda," written by John Porter after discovering it on InkTip. Gary is a puppeteer in New York. Although some revisions were necessary to change the live-action script to a green-screen puppet narrative, the option, collaboration, and production took place over a course of a few days. This was the first the first puppet narrative for both artists. John said of Gary, "He's very good, very easy to work with, and very fast." You can watch “Thanks, Lucinda” on YouTube.
