More Scripts Optioned through InkTip

Sacha Parisot Options "The Vault"
Sacha Parisot with Parisot Productions optioned "The Vault" from Glenn Brown after discovering it through InkTip. Right around the same time, Jose Luis Martinez and Mike Stevens with Miami World Cinema Center (MWCC) read the same script on InkTip. Jose called and asked for an introduction, we connected him with Sacha, they met to review the project, and then they optioned it from Sacha, who is on board as a producer along with Jose and Patrick de Bokay. MWCC is a non-profit studio dedicated to developing local talent and providing resources to expand South Florida's professional independent film industry. Sacha recently directed the feature "Decomposing Tony Maslow" and produced the horror feature "Reservation." MWCC has executive produced two features and is currently co-producing a microbudget drama in Miami. This is Glenn Brown's first option through InkTip.Luke Daniels Options "A Good Soul"
Luke Daniels of Redwire Pictures found "A Good Soul" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Diane M. Johnson. The film will be directed by his partner Jonathan Zuck; their credits together include "Within the Darkness," which was also shot from a script Daniels found on InkTip. Diane, who is repped by attorney Darrell Greenwald of Greenwald, Mayfield and Vigil, is the author of eight screenplays which have received recognition from festivals and contests, but this is her first option through InkTip.
Alessi and Ranarivelo Option "Day of Reckoning"
Paul J. Alessi and Alex Ranarivelo with Partners in Crime Films found "Day of Reckoning" through InkTip and optioned it from Travis Opgenorth.  Paul and Alex are releasing their feature "Knuckle Draggers," a "Swingers"-like rom-com on Valentine's Day, 2013. Currently, Paul and producer Chris Brinker ("Boondock Saints") are developing the untitled "Mickey Kelley" feature written by Alex & "Boondock Saints" star Sean Patrick Flannery, who will also direct and act in the project. Alex, who will be at the helm for "Day of Reckoning," just directed the feature "Born to Race."   This is Travis Opgenorth's first option through InkTip.
Scatena and Rosner Option "One Eighty"
Gato Scatena and Jordan Rosner of S&R Films discovered "One Eighty" by Brian "B.D." Young, optioned the screenplay, partnered with director Richard Gabai of Check Entertainment, whom they also met through InkTip, and we are pleased to announce that the feature film is now going into production. Richard Gabai's credits include "InSight," (starring Sean Patrick Flannery, Natalie Zea, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Christopher Lloyd) for which InkTip hosted a red carpet release party recently. Gato Scatena was a consulting producer on "Kill Katie Malone," which starred Dean Cain and Masiela Lusha and which was also shot from a script found on InkTip. Both Scatena and Rosner are associate producers on Jerrol LeBaron's upcoming "Fools on the Hill." And Brian Young has a number of feature and MOW writing credits to his resume, with four more fil ms going into production during the next four months alone.
Mark Martino Options "The Ride"
Mark Martino bought the short script, "The Ride," from Warren Fast after discovering Warren on InkTip. Mark is a senior film student at SUNY Oswego in upstate NY and aspires to direct feature films. Originally, Mark wanted Warren Fast's short "Roadkill," but Warren had already sold it to another InkTip member. He offered Mark "The Ride" after viewing his demo reel. Mark liked "The Ride" even more, and they closed the deal the next day.
Hundreds of writers have sold/optioned their screenplays by having their scripts on InkTip.com.Go here to list your scripts.
