This was (I think) my 3rd year as a panelist and my 4th time at the Festival. I came the first time, years back, as a newbie writer, which I completely still am, just older! For some reason this year was the best. Surely it's the city, the sweet people like yourself who run the fest and maybe too, seeing my boss awarded -- which was great and so deserved, but I think mainly it's the fact that as time goes on, I'm ever more thankful to get to be in a place that not only honors writers, but creates a 4-day party where we writery-nerds can band together!” - Kiel Murray, writer CARS; Development Executive, Pixar Animation Studios On Story is a new series which takes a look at the creative process of filmmaking through the eyes of some of the entertainment industry's most prolific writers, directors and producers.
