InkTip: Scripts Wanted 567...


 We are pleased to announce that four more scripts were optioned through InkTip!

Jeff Orgill Options "Temptation"
Jeff Orgill with Brooklyn Reptyle Films optioned "Temptation" from Melinda Mullins after finding it on InkTip. Orgill directed the award-winning feature "Boppin' at the Glue Factory," which is available for rental on the newly-formed online service Prescreen. He also has the upcoming project "The Girl with the Wandering Eye." Melinda Mullins is not only a writer in various genres but a veteran film, television and stage actress best known for her role in the television series "Remember WENN."

Joe Toronto Options "The Big Scrum"
Joe Toronto with Strangeway Productions LLC found "The Big Scrum: How Teddy Roosevelt Saved Football" through InkTip and optioned it from John J. Miller.  Joe and partner Boman Modine head the New York-based production company. "The Big Scrum" is an entertaining, historical book detailing the early days of football and the key people involved-Teddy Roosevelt included-in saving the brutal sport from possible abolition. John J. Miller is a literary journalist who writes for "National Review," "The Wall Street Journal" and many other publications.

Strath Hamilton Options "The Pond Watcher"
Strath Hamilton of TriCoast Studios found "The Pond Watcher" through InkTip and optioned it from Mark Schnug.   Strath and wife Marcy Levitas Hamilton co-founded TriCoast Studios twenty-five years ago and have produced over twenty films. Funding is through their distribution arm, TriCoast Worldwide, which is distributing the upcoming "Two Jakes, with Danny Huston, Jack Huston and Sienna Miller. In addition to its development slate, TriCoast funds film packages as well as films in post-production along with completed films. Mark Schnug is an Austin-based screenwriter.

Carlos Ramos Jr. Options "Kill Katie"
Carlos Ramos Jr. found the feature thriller "Kill Katie Malone" by Mark Onspaugh on InkTip, produced and directed it with Dean Cain and Stephen Colletti, signed with American World Pictures as the sales rep, and we are now pleased to announce that the completed feature film will be airing this week on The Movie Channel and Showtime. Carlos, whom the Hollywood Examiner called "wildly motivated and all out revolutionary," is a graduate of the prestigious ABC/Disney Producers' Program, and recently directed the web series "Ninety," which he adapted from the popular graphic novel of the same name. Mark Onspaugh was one of the writers on the Newline cult classic "Flight of the Living Dead."

Brian Joseph Ochab Options "Icon"
Brian Joseph Ochab with Wonder Motion Studios optioned the short script "Death of an Icon" from Gary Rowlands after finding it on InkTip. Brian is the chief creative officer of Wonder Motion Studios. He got his start in the industry in stop motion animation. He directed the children's TV show "My Bedbugs," which he received an Emmy nomination for directing. He has written and is currently producing and directing a stop-motion animation short narrated by Christopher Lee titled "Tim."   Gary worked as a staff writer on the UK's legendary series "Spitting Image" for over a four-year period. He has had several shorts optioned and sold through InkTip.

1) FilmStreet Productions - Christmas Dog Scripts
---------------


We are looking for completed feature-length holiday scripts featuring a young person and a dog, and centered around Christmas. Adventurous, high concept, fantasy elements preferred, but material must be contemporary. Note also, we are only interested in reading family friendly material, garning a G or PG rating, as the target audience is kids 6-12 and parents. Submissions should be in the vein of "The Dog the Saved Christmas," or "The Search for Santa Paws."
Budget will not exceed $500K. Only non-WGA writers should submit.
Our credits include "First Dog" and "Ben & Jake's Big Deal."
