This year's program stands out, featuring TV Day -- Saturday, Nov. 15 -- headlined by the creators of Lost and Heroes; a major focus on successful women writers, headlined by Hollywood's top-grossing female director, writer-directory Nancy Meyers; and a unique event, a live dialogue reading from an upcoming screenplay by the acclaimed New York writer Richard Price. It also includes more than 75 brand new, advanced educational sessions never taught before at the Expo, along with the most popular teachers from years past, including Syd Field, Karl Iglesias, Pilar Alessandra, Hollywood networking expert Heather Hale, and many more.

GET LOST AT THE EXPO
On Saturday, the Expo welcomes the writers of ABC's hit show LOST, one of the most unique and talked-about shows to come along this century.

Things begin with a rare Q&A with writers/showrunners/executive producers Damon Lindelof & Carlton Cuse where they will discuss their writing process, the genesis of the show, and give some hints at what's to come in the next few seasons.

Then, fellow writers Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz take the stage for Lost: Anatomy of an Episode, where the duo breaks down and analyzes a fan-favorite episode that they are responsible for writing. Even if you're not familiar with the show, this session is invaluable to anyone who hopes to one day have their voice heard in a TV writer's room.

OVER FORTY WORKING WRITERS GIVING TALKS
With big names like William Goldman (Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid), Nancy Meyers (Something's Gotta Give), Tim Kring (Heroes), Shawn Ryan (The Shield), J. Michael Straczynski (Changeling), Marshall Herskovitz (The Last Samurai), Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (The Chronicles of Narnia), Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight), Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada), Bill Marsilli (Déjà vu), Karen Lutz & Kirsten Smith (Legally Blonde), Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) and many more, the Expo gives you access to great, diverse, and award-winning screenwriters like no other event can.

PITCH YOUR IDEA AT THE GOLDEN PITCH FESTIVAL
Over 100 production companies, agencies, and management companies - most with studio deals or A-list clients - will be on hand to hear your idea. In five minutes, you could go from struggling writer to gaining representation or maybe even a meeting at a big studio. The Golden Pitch Festival is the cheapest way to open the door to one of the most difficult industries to break into in the world.

OVER 200 SEMINARS ON SCREENWRITING AND FILMMAKING
Every aspect of the craft and business of screenwriting is covered in our many seminars that span four days of events. If your script has an Act II problem, or you're worried about how to pitch a certain idea, or you're simply wondering what the best way for you to go about getting an agent should be, it's all covered at the Expo.

If you have aspirations of being a writer or director in Hollywood, the 2008 Screenwriting Expo is an essential stop for you and your career. CLICK HERE to register now!
