I'm looking for smart, funny, witty, enthusiastic writers (you must be extremely enthusiastic, especially since I can't afford to pay you...I'm unemployed...so experience and fun is going to have to be enough.) from all walks of life! The writing staff will be comprised of two to three writers including myself, so I am looking for one to two additional writers.
If you love writing, and you're often told by friends (and/or, more importantly, you're told by strangers) that you're funny, please apply! The best way to apply is to send an email. In the email, be sure to include the following:
- A brief introduction of yourself and your background in writing and/or comedy
- Your contact information
- A cover letter
- Three to five samples of your best written comedic works (if applicable)
- One to two samples of your best performance based comedic works (if applicable)
(I hope it's obvious that the letter and samples should be sent in attachments. It should also be understood that it is preferred that applicants have either writing or performing experience.)
Applications will be accepted through the 18th of June 2011, with decisions being made no later than the 25th of June 2011. Writers will be notified of their status by the deadline date.
