InkTip: Scripts Wanted 568...

Three more scripts were optioned and another writer was hired through InkTip!

Howard Nash Options "Tables"
Howard Nash with Starrunner discovered "Tables" on InkTip and optioned it from writer Ron Barenburg. Nash's credits include "The Legends of Nethiah," starring Robert Picardo. "Tables" is a family friendly high concept film about a woman who sees her future self in the mirror one morning and sets out on a journey to find chemistry without knowing exactly what chemistry is. This is Ron's first option through InkTip.

Maritza Guimet Options "Game"
Maritza Guimet with CPA Films optioned "For the Love of the Game" by Jim D. Brown and C. Douglas Cloud after finding the script on InkTip.com. The script is actually an adaption of Jim Brown's book "Tim's Big Decision," published in 2001, about a young man trying to find his way in professional baseball, maintain his religious integrity, and somehow find time for his beautiful girlfriend. Maritza picked it up as part of a slate of Movies of the Week for OlympuSAT cable television outlets, to be produced simultaneously in English and Spanish. This is Jim Brown's second option through InkTip.

Ari Palitz Discovers "Nellie"
Ari Palitz with Narrator Entertainment discovered "Nellie" on InkTip and entered into a shopping agreement with writer Scott Gray. Palitz' credits include "Minkow" (James Caan) and "Sugar" (Shenae Grimes), which was written by a writer who was also discovered on InkTip. This is Scott Gray's first success through InkTip.

Linda Palmer Hires Chris Pentzell
Linda Palmer with Runaway Productions found Chris Pentzell through InkTip and hired him onto her feature film "Halloween Party" as a writer. Though originally contracted to write additional material, Pentzell also landed a starring role in the comedy. We're pleased to announce that the film has been shot and is now in post-production. This is Pentzell's third success through InkTip.

Samuel Laseke Options "Blood Brothers"
Samuel Laseke optioned the short script, "Blood Brothers" from Fassinou Ange after discovering it on InkTip. Samuel has signed several other writers from the site. He said, "Your service has really helped me a lot. I have searched for weeks to find good scripts. I have found many great scripts and writers from InkTip. Currently I am working on 5-6 movies from writers I found through InkTip."

---------------

Company A

We are looking for completed feature-length female oriented character-driven comedy or action/comedy “runaways on the road” scripts in the vein of “Thelma & Louise” or “Wild at Heart.” In other words, not just any road trip movie, but a script that utilizes two characters who are thrown together and are now running from the law or from danger. The duo can consist of either both female or female and male (such as in “Natural Born Killers”). We prefer characters with depth such as in the above examples.

Budget will not exceed $10 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length true story, current event scripts. We are not open to scripts based on the writer’s own life. We are also not open to period pieces. These should be ripped-from-the-headlines or at least set within the last decade. You should already have the life rights for any appropriate scenario.
Budget will not exceed $2 million. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length 1-2 location scripts from unrepped writers. We are strict on the number of locations but open to any genre. By locations, we mean physical locations on a property (we can count more than one room in a building as one location). In other words, a script set in a house and a store, or a story set in only a motel (e.g. shooting in four rooms and a lobby are fine) are acceptable.
Budget will not exceed $200,000. Non-WGA writers only may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length or 1-hr pilot scripts set in the world of the 1930’s jazz scene as samples for a possible writer-for-hire opportunity. We are developing a story to be set in 1930’s Harlem, so we are not interested in samples not related to jazz during the 30’s. We are not interested in scripts set outside of the United States. Think “Harlem Nights” with Eddie Murphy. If your pitch interests us, we will request the script for further consideration.
Budget is open. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length teen musical scripts in the vein of “High School Musical.” We are adapting a popular Brazilian television series to a feature version.   Therefore, we are only open to scripts with high school-aged characters that sing and dance during their adventures. We may be looking for a writer to develop the script from page 1, or to adapt your script with the characters from the existing series.
Budget is relatively low. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.

We are looking for completed feature-length historical scripts based on the TRUE story of the collaboration between the Irish Republican Army and Germany during WWII. We are working with a consultant who knew some of the figures involved in that clandestine collaboration against the British government, but we do not yet have a script or writer. Please submit only if you have already written about or have extensive knowledge on this topic. We’d ideally like to find an historically accurate portrayal of this story, or of the lives of any of the major participants.
Budget has yet to be determined. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.
