Screenplay Requests: 583..

Three more scripts were optioned and another writer was discovered through InkTip.

Guillermo Escalona Options "Easy Credit"
Guillermo Escalona discovered "Easy Credit" on InkTip and optioned it from Diane & Robert Liberman.  Escalona just produced the feature "Street Honor." The Libermans specialize in comedy writing.

Darryn Welch Options "The Common Man"
Director Andreas Schaap discovered "The Common Man" through InkTip, presented the script to Darryn Welch, owner of Instinctive Film and together they optioned it from writer, Wade Wofford. Darryn produced Xavier Gens "The Divide" and executive produced "The Bang Bang Club" (Malin Akerman, Taylor Kitsch and Ryan Phillippe) and "The Retreat" (Cillian Murphy, Jamie Bell). Andreas Schaap will direct. This is writer Wade Wofford's second option that took place through InkTip.

"Fools..." to Premiere at the Garden State Film Festival
"Fools on the Hill," Jerrol LeBaron's feature length documentary about his attempt to get politicians to do the jobs they were hired to do, has been accepted at the prestigious Garden State Film Festival and will screen on March 24 at 12:30pm. If you're in New Jersey and want to attend the screening, please go to: http://www.gsff.org/festival-info/films-a-z/ Just do a search for "Fools" and it will come up. "Fools on the Hill" was written and directed by Jed Rigney, whom Jerrol found through InkTip.

Jeff Belkin Discovers Kristopher Michel
Jeff Belkin of Foremost Films discovered writer Kristopher Michel on InkTip and signed to rep him as his manager. Belkin worked as a literary manager with Mad Hatter Films and then as a producer with a deal at Warner Bros before striking out on his own as a literary manager. He signed Michel after seeing "Holmes," the writer's pilot script on the site, and has since attached producer Lisa Barrett. This is Kristopher Michel's first option through InkTip.

Trudy Sargent Options "Anton"
Producer /director Trudy Sargent with Red Pictures found "Anton" on InkTip, optioned it from Fassinou Ange, and we're pleased to announce that the project is shooting now. She'll be producing it with Ramin Nematollahi, whom she also met through InkTip. Originally developed from a short script, "Anton," about a blind boxer getting a rematch, is now a 30-minute pilot starring 5x World Champion Evander Holyfield. This is Trudy's second project with writer Ange.

Gordon Timothy Discovers "Whitey"
Gordon Timothy has wrapped production on the short script "Whitey," written by Ed Haas, which he found on InkTip. Gordon is an actor turned producer/director. He was impressed by "Whitey" and the amount of layers in the short script, and he also enjoyed the "ease and grace in working with Ed," he stated. Edward Haas has produced a number of his own shorts, one which was selected to the Sundance Film Festival in 2001.
