Sean Ramsay with NMI discovered "Caged" through InkTip and optioned it from Pete Panos. Sean specializes in overseas productions, and has a number of projects at various stages of development in China. "Caged" is an MMA script with a social message, and this is Pete's first option through InkTip.

Marvis Johnson Options "Perfect Smile"
Marvis Johnson with Buck 50 Productions found "Perfect Smile" on InkTip and optioned it from Eric Weinstock. Marvis directed "A Talent for Trouble," starring Brandon T. Jackson. The contest winner "Perfect Smile" is a dramedy about a dentist on the run. This is Eric Weinstock's second project with Marvis and fourth overall through InkTip.

Beverley Gordon Hires Blossom Kan & Michelle Yu
Beverley Gordon, producer/owner of BrownBag Pictures, met Blossom Kan & Michelle Yu through InkTip and hired them to adapt a novel.  Ms. Gordon co-produced the feature film "The Other Brother" and was a 2012 finalist in the PGA Producers Showcase with the feature project "Scout," which she discovered on InkTip. The writing duo has written two published novels.

Whitt Brantley Signs Olga Montes and John Vamvas
Whitt Brantley with WBMT Agency discovered Olga Montes and John Vamvas on InkTip and signed to rep the writing duo. The script which caught Whitt's eye was "Wherewolves," a limited location and very unique take on the werewolf vehicle. This is Olga and John's first success through InkTip.

Joops Fragale Options "The Guy Knows Everything"
Joops Fragale with 386 Films discovered the short script "The Guy Knows Everything" on InkTip and optioned it from Andrew Fisk. This is 386 Films' third option from InkTip. The others being Gene Douctette's "Parting," and Frazer Lee's "Simone," which turned into an award winning short. The company plans to shoot mid-summer. This in the first option for Andrew who is based out of Northern California.

2) Johnson Production Group – Seeking Low-Budget Disaster Scripts

We are looking for completed feature-length, lower-budget, high-concept disaster or alien invasion scripts appropriate for television. The phenomenon must feel organic to the story and not pasted on. We are looking for stories about large-scale disasters or organic phenomenons etc. The title and premise must be high-concept and hook you in immediately. In other words, no arthouse or slow-burning character-driven pieces; this should be fun. We prefer stories that may tie in to major theatrical releases, popular TV shows, national holidays, etc. We are NOT looking for a script about a small terrorist threat or a criminal threatening to blow up a sports arena. This should be a large worldwide threat similar to an "Independence Day” or "Prometheus" but much smaller in budget.
 
Budget is low but reasonable. Both WGA and Non-WGA writers may submit.
